Well it was a long day. We spent this day at Brown University. We started off by splitting up into 2 separate groups. Each group started in a different area of the campus. My group started in the theater. The teacher who taught the classes told us his life story. he told us how when he was young he loved to write and direct plays. Mr. Elmo's story was very long. There were some points that I dosed off and at other points I was very into it. One part that I was very into was when he started to speak about the Voodoo flags hanging around the theater. I felt very uncomfortable and strange after that. Then we were of to the gym. The gym was okay. It wasn't the best in the world ,but it wasn't the worst. We walked around; we saw the hockey rink, their basketball court and there rooftop (which they don't use. After that we went to the cafeteria. The food there was very good. I ate about four plates. Then we went on a scavenger hunt Which was (sorry to say) boring. Overall i had a good time at Brown. There were a lot of college students there. There weren't many cute girls around. I think this all tied in with the career projects because the stories that the teachers were giving to us were all about pursuing what you like/love to do and get a degree in that field. For example: Mr. Elmo loved theater when he was young. He pursued his love for theater and went to college to get his degree in performing arts and now he teaches dozens of students at Brown everyday.
